The concert will be held at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on Nov. 12. Tickets go on sale Sept. 20, and range from $79.50 to $304.50 for VIP seats. Proceeds will go to the Playing for Change Foundation, which promotes peace with music.
Performers will also include Aimee Mann and Shelby Lynne, among others.
The 30th Annual John Lennon Tribute will be presented by the group Theatre Within, a not-for-profit which produces shows for charities and social causes. They have produced the annual tribute since 1981, shortly after Lennon's death.
Lennon was killed 30 years ago, two months after celebrating his 40th birthday.
