Shop Etc. magazine Editor in Chief Mandi Norwood gives a gift of sorts to viewers of The Early Show Tuesday, in its "Simple Solutions" series, when she offers ideas on how to make your chosen recipients happy without spending too much.

OSCAR PURPLE FRAGRANCE, $39. Purple Liquid! Purple was a huge trend for fall in clothing, so it's no surprise that this gorgeously packaged fragrance is by Oscar de la Renta. ESSENZA DI ZEGNA, $65. Women's designers have been creating scents for years, and now the men's market is sitting up, taking notice, and making its own news. We have Oscar for women; Zegna is an extremely popular and hot men's line. Fragrance speaks to the heightened awareness men now have about their appearance. The bottle looks extremely masculine; Zegna even put men's shirting material on it to make it unmistakable. Also, we adore the way it smells. It's very expensive-smelling. ANTHONY LOGISTICS FACIAL KIT, $45. Great for travel or for the bathroom, this men's comprehensive set includes a glycolic cleanser that exfoliates gently, and men need that, especially now in the colder weather.
