Travel Gear for Kids Made Simple

CBS

Parents know that traveling with children takes extra planning. Luckily there are some great gadgets out there to make your trip easier and safer.

Iiamo Go

The first of its kind, the Iiamo Go is a self-heating baby bottle that can warm milk to body temperature in about four minutes. It doesn't need electricity or batteries, so it's perfect for vacation.

How does it work? The secret is in a 100 percent organic heating cartridge that contains just salt and water. The rehydration of the salt creates a warming effect.

The bottle costs a little over 30 dollars and a 6-pack of the heaters is just under 10.

The downside? They are not yet available in the U.S., but you can buy them online at DanskDesign.nu.

Price: Just over $30

6-pack of heaters: Less than $10

Phil and Ted's MeToo Portable Highchair

The Phil and Ted's MeToo Portable Highchair really sets itself apart because it's made out of fabric. The highchair can fold up, making it easy to pack, and you can hook it on to any table with adjustable screws. So whether you're at a cafe or a picnic, your child can be seated comfortably.

Price: Less than $50

SecuraPal

Great for peace of mind, the SecuraPal is a GPS device that tells you where your child is and alerts you when they've gone too far. It also works as an SOS button that your child can push if they get lost or scared.

As an added bonus, you can rent the device for vacations or buy one that you can use all the time. The cost is just under $200 with a monthly service fee of $24.99.
