Toni Collette welcomes a baby boy

(CBS) Toni Collette's family just received another bundle of joy.

The "United States of Tara" star, 38, gave birth to a boy, Arlo Robert Galafassi, on April 22 in Australia.

"Toni Collette, her husband David Galafassi and their daughter Sage Galafassi are excited and proud to announce the arrival of their baby boy, Arlo Robert Galafassi," Collette's rep told People magazine on Monday.

"He was born on Good Friday making it the greatest Friday, indeed!" the couple said in a statement.

The actress' latest movie "Jesus Henry Christ," which was produced by Julia Roberts, premired on Saturday at the Tribeca Film Festival, where Collette was noticably absent.

Collete and Galafassi have been married for 8 years and are also parents to daughter Sage, 3.
