Tim Tebow approached for "The Bachelor"
(CBS News) Tim Tebow as the next "Bachelor"? Don't get too excited: The Denver Broncos quarterback isn't taking off his football jersey just yet.
But if the "The Bachelor" producers had their way, they would cast the 24-year-old NFL star on the ABC reality show. In fact, they've already asked him.
"The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison told Access Hollywood he met with Tebow about appearing on the series, adding, "I think he'd be a great 'Bachelor.'"
When "Access Hollywood Live" host Kit Hoover asked about Tebow's reaction to the offer, Harrison said, "He did say yes ... but he would never do it. He has a little job called quarterback at least for another year."
Tebow would make an interesting choice for the series. A devout Christian, the Heisman Trophy winner once famously said he would wait to have sex until marriage.
Still, he's the subject of many reported romances. In December, skier Lindsay Vonn denied dating Tebow, and just this month, there was talk of a romance with singer Taylor Swift after they were reportedly spotted having a friendly dinner.
