Tiger Woods fires 64, in the hunt at Deutsche Bank Championship

(AP) NORTON, Mass. - Seung-yul Noh has birdied his last two holes for a 9-under 62 to take a two-shot lead in the Deutsche Bank Championship.

Noh, a 21-year-old from South Korea, played the TPC Boston in the more difficult afternoon conditions Friday and had no problem catching up to Tiger Woods and Jeff Overton, who each had a 64 in the morning.

For Woods, it was his best opening round in three years.

The start was more important for Overton, who grew up in Indiana and played for the Hoosiers. He needs a good tournament to advance to the next FedEx Cup playoff event at Crooked Stick outside Indianapolis.

Noh ran off four straight birdies on the front nine, and finished with a wedge to 5 feet for birdie and his 62. It was one shot off the course record.
