Three die in shooting at Indianapolis apartment complex
INDIANAPOLIS - Police say three people have died after a shooting at an apartment complex in Indianapolis around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, reports CBS affiliate WISH.
Officers arriving at the Marina Apartments on the city's far east side late Sunday found one man with a gunshot wound lying outside a building and another two victims - a man and a woman - with gunshot wounds inside an apartment.
Indianapolis police say the three were pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests were immediately made. Police Sgt. Kendale Adams says detectives found suspected narcotics inside the apartment and don't believe the attack was random. Authorities told WISH that they were following up on leads but would not go into specifics.
Information on those killed wasn't immediately released. WISH reports that autopsies are expected Monday.
Earlier Sunday, one man was killed and a woman was wounded during a shooting at an Indianapolis clothing store. Police say two teenagers have been arrested in that shooting.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-TIPS.
