Thompson Joins In On Clinton Criticism

Traveling in Nevada with Fred Thompson, CBS News' John Bentley reports that the former Tennessee senator took notice of Hillary Clinton's and her support of driver's licenses for illegal immigrants. "I never thought I'd see Joe Torre manage the Los Angeles Dodgers, and I never thought I'd see Hillary Clinton pinned down and have to answer a controversial question," he said, to laughter and applause from the crowd of about 300 Republicans. "She scrambled during the debate, then came out with a statement the next day. It took her 12 hours to get the wrong answer for America," he said. "That's not what we believe in."
