This Week's Music Trends: Adele Keeps Rolling but Gaga is #1

(CBS/What's Trending) - It's Lady Gaga's world, we're just living in it. But don't tell that to Adele, whose powerhouse single "Rolling in the Deep" continues it's reign as the number one song in the country. The two female performers take top honors as the most popular artist and song as we look at the top trends in the music world this week.

Friends of the program Big Champagne put together their weekly Ultimate Chart of all the songs and performers making waves online and off. As we mentioned above, Adele still has the top spot - bringing her streak to six weeks at #1.

While her name doesn't appear on the list, Lady Gaga is also have a phenomenal week. After her platinum-in-a-week album "Born This Way" dropped at the end of May, Gaga scores a perfect 100 on Ultimate's metric of album sales and online views.

Another performer having a huge week is the recently-crowned "American Idol" Scotty McCreery, whose single "I Love You This Big" debuted at #12 on Billboard's Top 200.

Unfortunately, it's not all good news for Adele. The singer has had to cancel the rest of her American tour due to larengytis.
