To Publicist: No Need to Call and Ask If I Am Feeling Sexy
The client: R&B singer Scott Gertner
The PR pitch: a package labeled "Sexy Music Inside" and the message: "When was the last time music truly made you feel sexy inside?... I will be calling soon to get your input and see if you're feeling sexy."
The payoff: EW.com blogger plays Gertner's CD, brings over a colleague to listen as well, and then blogs about the whole thing. Now Catching Flack has blogged about it, and I picked it up off of PR Newser at mediabistro.com
Conclusion: sex still sells.
