The Wallflowers to open for Eric Clapton on tour

The Wallflowers will hit the road with Eric Clapton in 2013.

The 15-date outing kicks off March 14 in Phoenix and winds down April 6 in Pittsburgh. Tickets go on sale beginning Nov. 30.

Clapton's tour will close with the two-night Crossroads Guitar Festival at New York's Madison Square Garden on April 12 and 13. The event will feature performances by Clapton, Allman Brothers Band, BB King, Brad Paisley, Gary Clark Jr., Jeff Beck John Mayer, Keith Urban, Vince Gill and others.
