Unfortunately, many of our favorite TV shows come to an end this week, but at least we will get to find out who won "Dancing with the Stars" and "American Idol." Fans of "Pirates of the Caribbean" will also finally have their appetites satisfied with the third movie in the franchise.
MOVIES:
A Danish film, "The Boss of It All," directed and written by Lars von Trier, opens May 23. When the owner of an IT company wants to sell his business, he has to deal with the fact that he created an imaginary president to take the fall when he makes bad decisions. He hires an actor, played by Jens Albinus, to negotiate with the would-be buyers face to face.
Israeli filmmaker Ido Haar's "9 Star Hotel" is a hard look at the lives of Palestinian workers who illegally travel to Israel for work. It also opens May 23.
"Orange Winter" takes a look back at the tumultuous 2004 Ukrainian presidential election and its aftermath. It was made by Ukrainian-American Andrei Zagdansky and opens May 23.
Opening May 25, "Paprika" is an anime film from Japanese artist Satoshi Kon about a special device that lets scientists influence people's dreams. Paprika is the character who helps dreamers when they are in need.
"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" is the highly-anticipated third installment of the "Pirates" franchise starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. It also opens May 25.

The"Lost" season finale will be two hours long and will air Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET.

MUSIC
"It Won't Be Soon Before Long" is Maroon 5's follow-up to the band's wildly successful debut "Songs About Jane." Its first single, "Makes Me Wonder," is already a hit. The album comes out May 22.
Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne has a new album out May 22 called "Black Rain."
British pop duo Erasure is releasing "Light at the End of the World" on May 22.
"What if God Was One of Us" singer Joan Osborne releases another album, "Breakfast in Bed," on May 22.
DVD
The medical dramedy "Scrubs" — The Complete Fifth Season is available starting May 22.
Mel Gibson's "Apocalypto," which sparked controversy with its blood and gore, is also out on DVD on May 22.

BOOKS
Khaled Hosseini's "A Thousand Splendid Suns" is the follow-up to his first book, the bestseller, "The Kite Runner." He again examines war-torn Afghanistan after the Soviet occupation followed by Taliban rule. The book focuses on an Afghan refugee who becomes a doctor.
"The Reagan Diaries" kept by the 40th president of the United States Ronald Reagan document his eight years in office. The entries not only reflect on world affairs, but also his private life.
"The Overlook" by Michael Connelly is the 13th novel based on his character Harry Bosch. This time he is trying to solve a murder of physicist but has to battle a special FBI Unit for control of the case.Photos: Ronald Reagan
Former Vice President Al Gore continues to spark speculation about a third try at the presidency and now has a new book, "The Assault on Reason," which criticizes President Bush's policies in Iraq as well as the damage that has been done to American Democracy.
