"Gone Baby Gone", directed by Ben Affleck and starring younger brother Casey, is the story of two investigators who search desperately for a young girl around Boston after she is kidnapped from her home. The film also stars Morgan Freeman, Michelle Monaghan and Ed Harris.
"Rendition" stars Reese Witherspoon as an American wife of an Egyptian-born chemical engineer who disappears on a flight from South Africa to Washington.
