The Secret to Better Performance: PowerPoint Karaoke

The '80s had poetry slams, the '90s had the karoake craze. For the '00s (sounds like 'aughts'), there's PowerPoint Karaoke. This sounds like the worst idea ever to hit open mic night. On the other hand, this entertaining look at the un-phenomenon, Slide Show, notes at the end:
PowerPoint Karaoke may hold transformative potential for the workplace. Even if only a few office PowerPoint devotees stopped and thought "would this slide go over well in a bar?" the lives of many, many office workers could be dramatically improved.
It's worth a shot.
