The Revolution Will Be Animated

Last March, SuperNews! released another one of their cartoons on the Internet. It included their classic tongue-in-cheek take on pop culture and current events, but this time the victim was Twitter. Titled, "Twouble With Twitter," the video pokes fun at people's fascination and obsession with the social media platform.

Then in an ironic twist of fate, `Twouble' got caught in its own Twitter frenzy. Twitterholics couldn't get enough of its self-deprecating value and in turn brought the video to viral territory. While `Twouble' now has over 2 million views on YouTube alone, it's not a first for SuperNews! The team has been ramping out funny political and topical cartoons since 2005 for Current TV, and is now in its second season as a weekly series on the network

I stopped by their headquarters in Hollywood and got a behind-the-scenes look at this super smart production from creator and executive producer, Josh Faure-Brac:
