"The Mindy Project" undergoes casting shakeup

Some casting changes are reportedly under way at "The Mindy Project."

According to TVLine, one actress is departing Mindy Kaling's sitcom, while another is being bumped from a series regular to a recurring character.

Amanda Setton, who plays sexy receptionist Shauna, is reportedly departing the Fox freshman comedy for "creative reasons."

Anna Camp, who plays the best friend of Kaling's character, will now be a recurring character. TVLine reports that Camp asked to be taken "off contract," which would allow her to pursue other roles while continuing to appear on the show.

"The Mindy Project" was picked up for a full season last month, along with the network's other new comedy, "Ben and Kate."
