A new trailer has arrived for "The Lone Ranger," showing more of Armie Hammer as the titular hero and Johnny Depp as Tonto.

"Why am I alive?" Hammer asks in the two-and-a-half-minute clip.

"Eight men rode into Canyon. I dug seven graves," Depp responds. "The horse says you are a spirit walker. A man who has been to the other side and returned. A man who cannot be killed in battle."

The trailer also reveals the story behind the Lone Ranger's iconic mask.

"People think you are dead," Tonto advises him. "Better to stay that way."

The Walt Disney Pictures film, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Gore Verbinski, will arrive in theaters on July 3, 2013.
