The Last Words of A Kuwaiti Suicide Bomber

An audiotape featuring an interview with Kuwaiti al Qaeda operative and former Guantanamo detainee Abu Saleh al Ajmi has been posted on militant Internet forums Wednesday. Al Ajmi repordetly carried out a suicide attack in Mosul end of April. The 44:49 minute tape is a recording of a chat session picked up from al Ansar room on Paltalk. Al Ajmi is heard talking about his experience in Guantanamo. He says Guantanamo was a place for the "mujahideen" to rest, study the Qur'an and prepare for the next battle. Al Ajmi also called on his audience to go to jihad battlefield and carry out what he calls "martyrdom operations. "

Al Ajmi was born on August 2, 1978, in Ahmadi, Kuwait. He was released from Guantanamo and repatriated to Kuwait on November 3, 2005. He was taken into custody by Kuwaiti authorities, who released him on bail, while awaiting trial. Al Ajmi was acquitted by a Kuwaiti court on July 22, 2006.
