"The Hunger Games": New poster released

(CBS) Fans of "The Hunger Games" have gotten another glimpse of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen in a new poster for the film.

The poster shows Katniss wielding her bow and arrow, looking directly in the camera and preparing to shoot. The heroine's ability to use a bow and arrow is her secret weapon in the games.

The big-screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins' novel is set to hit theaters on March 23.

Lionsgate has been gradually providing fans with more peeks at the film through a trailer, movie posters and film stills.

Among them a series of character posters were released showing Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz and the film's other stars as their characters.
