(CBS) After last night's episode of "The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business," we're sure it'll be a long time before any of the teams want to look at a cup of tea again.

Tea was the theme of the night, bringing the teams from China to India and eventually leading to one team's elimination. (SPOILER ALERT)

Kicking off the leg in China, teams had to participate in a traditional tea tasting ceremony. They didn't know it yet, but that papaya mango tea would play into the rest of the episode in a big way.

After that, it was onto Kolkata, India, where they had to visit the local Town Hall. The teams raced out of the airport and onto the jam-packed city streets, but the building didn't open until 10 the next morning. So, everyone had to camp outside.

Right when the gates opened, it was a mad dash for the clue box, which brought on a Road Block based on the ancient Indian tradition of tea tasting. Players had to pick out the same papaya mango tea they had back in China out of what looked like thousands of cups of tea. While most players tried to identify the tea by color (or worse, tasting everything in hopes of finding it), Ron's method of identifying it by smell worked best, and he finished first. Jet finished the task the same way.

For everyone else, things devolved fast. We could only imagine how daunting tasting cup after cup of tea would be (we seriously hope there was a bathroom nearby) - and everyone looked exhausted and defeated - no one more so than Luke, who broke down in tears as team after team, by strategy or luck, finished before him. Margie couldn't do much more than comfort him and encourage him to keep trying.

The next clue was given to them under the cap of a Snapple bottle and it sent them to a tea stall in the city's Jorashanko area, where teams received a Detour. They had to choose between Hindu art (painting a statue of a deity) or Bengali literature (delivering books from a publishing company to a school using a rickshaw school bus).

Ron and Christina, Kent and Vyxsin, Big Easy and Flight Time and Jen and Kisha all chose to paint the statue, and the Goths couldn't help but be giddy over painting Ganesha, the elephant-headed Hindu god, their favorite color - pink. Margie and Luke also chose this task, but arrived way behind the other teams due to the tea fiasco.

Gary and Mallory, Jet and Cord and Justin and Zev opted to deliver the books to the school, crowding into the rickshaw with the literature and having to direct the driver.

The books delivery definitely seemed to be the faster task, and Gary and Mallory got to the pit stop first, winning a million rupees (about $20,000, Phil Keoghan revealed) and got to be the first to taste Snapple's new "Amazing Race"-inspired flavor. And it was Margie and Luke, unable to overcome the time deficit from the Road Block, who came in last and had to leave the Race.
