Texas teen's missing wallet turns up... but is that a good thing?
(CBS/AP) WEATHERFORD, Texas - There's nothing quite like that feeling you get when you think your wallet's been lost or stolen...and then it suddenly turns up. Whew!
Unless, of course, when your wallet turns up it's full of stuff you shouldn't have...as in the case of an east Texas teen whose billfold was apparently filled with proof that he's a practitioner of multiple identity theft.
Clayton Neil Stewart, 18, from Aledo, was arrested after someone found his wallet and turned it in to authorities, who say they found three other men's identification cards inside.
Whoops.
Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler says deputies also found drugs in the teen's car.
Stewart told deputies that he found the driver's licenses belonging to men in three states.
He's charged with fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, and possession of a controlled substance and marijuana. He was released Monday after posting $8,500 bail at the Parker County Jail in Weatherford, about 30 miles west of Fort Worth.
What's in your wallet?
