Taylor Swift, No Doubt to play 2012 MTV EMAs

Taylor Swift, No Doubt and Muse are on the bill for this year's MTV Europe Music Awards, set for Nov. 11, Frankfurt, Germany.

Swift, who's the leading nominees at the 19th annual awards show, told MTV, "I've always wanted to go to the EMA, because you hear about the spectacle of it, and how everyone just goes all out for their performances."

No Doubt is back on the scene, recently releasing "Push and Shove," its first new album in 11 years, while Muse is expected to perform a song from its sixth studio album, "The 2nd Law," out this week.

"Everyone is in top form," No Doubt said in a statement about the EMAs. "It's going to be an amazing time and a chance for us to show to the world why we're so proud of our new album. And it's always awesome to do what we love most, which is play live."

Rihanna tops this year list of nominees with six nods, followed by Swift with five. Justin Bieber and Katy Perry are both in the running for four awards.

Hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum, the MTV EMAs will broadcast live from Frankfurt's Festhalle on MTV2.

Presenters and additional performers will be announced soon.
