(CBS/KYW) BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police in Pennsylvania say a 34-year-old man with an extensive criminal history has been arrested for allegedly trading tattoos for sex with a 14-year-old girl.

Investigators say Walter Meyerle had repeated sexual contact with the girl at his home in Morrisville and other locations over the last year.

Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler told CBS affiliate KYW that they don't usually publicize child sex cases, but in this case they want to get the word out about Meyerle.

"We have reason to believe that Mr. Meyerle may have many more victims in the lower Bucks area or even well beyond that," Heckler told the station, adding that Meyerle met the girl through his relationship with her aunt.

Heckler says both the aunt and the girl's mother went to police after noticing the girl had a tattoo in her pelvic area.

Heckler told KYW that Meyerle is believed to have a tattoo studio in his home and told the girl during the course of their year-long relationship that he would give her the tattoo in exchange for various sex acts.

Police have set his bail at $1 million.

Investigators urge anyone who believes their child may have had contact with Meyerle to call the Bensalem Police Department at 215-633-3700.
