Tareq and Michaele Salahi to Be on "Real Housewives" After All?

It appears that Tareq and Michaele Salahi could be crashing your living room this summer.

According to various reports, Bravo will feature the famous "White House crashers" in the upcoming season of the "Real Housewives of D.C.," which could debut in July.

Bravo's cameras were there as the couple prepared for President Obama's first state dinner in November, an incident that set off a firestorm over security at the White House because the couple (at left) were apparently able to enter the dinner uninvited. The cable channel has since been mum about whether the show ever would run.

A few weeks ago, speculation was that it wouldn't because Bravo announced its plans for "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" to be a part of its upcoming schedule -- and didn't mention the Washington version at all.

But now, the Washington Post and the Daily Beast both report, citing sources, that the show is still a go and the Salahis will be an integral part.

The Daily Beast offers these details: the show is expected to debut in July; the Salahis have already taped 12 episodes; and they will participate in a photo shoot next month for the opening sequence.

The site also reports that the Salahis are working on a book to tell their side of the story about the White House incident.
