(CBS) ORLANDO, Fla. - A Tampa man was arrested on charges of sex-trafficking Friday, accused of selling sex with a 16-year-old girl.
An arrest report for Jeremy Coburn says that agents of the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation arrested the 24-year-old Coburn on Friday at the Hyatt hotel. The undercover agents went into the hotel, posing as men wanting to pay for sex.
The Orlando Sentinel reports they met with two prostitutes. According to the report, investigators said one of the girls was 16, and told agents she'd been working for Coburn at hotels in Tampa and Orlando for about three weeks.
Investigators say Coburn posted ads on Backpage.com. The second alleged victim, 23, said Coburn had punched her and she was "extremely scared" of disobeying him.
Coburn faces multiple charges of sex trafficking, deriving support from prostitution, directing for prostitution and unlawful use of communications.
He is jailed in Orange County on $100,000 bail.
