The tape included footage of several ambushes laid by the group against Afghan and NATO convoys, IED attacks and a display of weapons and ammunition seized by the group during one of their raids. The date stamp on some of the videos is from late 2008.
The 44-minute video ends with pictures of a public execution of an elderly man accused of collaborating with NATO forces. A masked gunman empties his Kalashnikov into the man's body before the eyes of a shocked crowd.
The video is the sixth edition of a video series launched by a militant Islamist media outlet called Manbaa al Jihad under the name the "Mujahideen Caravans."
