Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid claimed in an internet statement posted the group's website, that the movement launched an attack on the Rashidan district in Ghazny last night and took full control of the city. He added that the group is holding the city's governor Gulam Shah, his police chief Abdel Hakim and seven Afghani soldiers. "The Taliban seized large quantities of weapons and a few trucks which have already been moved to Taliban camps," Mujahid claimed.
