(CBS) DAVIE, Fla. - Police in the South Florida town of Davie are on the lookout for two women they say were caught on camera stealing a pair of iPads from children at a restaurant, CBS Miami reported.

According to the station, surveillance video from outside a Shorty's BBQ restaurant shows two women walking by a bench and snatching two iPad tablets that were accidentally left there.

The tablets reportedly belong to two brothers, the youngest 8 years old.

Police are also looking for a third woman who was with the alleged thieves.

"They are the worst kind of criminals, because if somebody pulls a gun you know what they're after. These are people who watched the child cry and it didn't phase them," said the boys' father.

The manager of the restaurant has offered to replace the iPads.

"It's not our policy to replace lost or stolen items but in this case, you know, sometimes you have to bend the rules in order to do what's right," manager Brad Sterit told CBS Miami.

Anyone who recognizes the women is urged to call Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
