Suzy Favor Hamilton, 3-time U.S. Olympian, exposed as Las Vegas escort

Three-time Olympic runner Suzy Favor Hamilton is probably best known for collapsing in the 1,500-meters during the 2000 Sydney Games and outrunning a chainsaw-wielding intruder in a controversial Nike commercial.

Since retiring from competitive running, Favor Hamilton started a family and has worked as a motivational speaker. According to The Smoking Gun, she has also been working as a call girl in Las Vegas.

The Smoking Gun reported that the former Olympian has been working under the alias "Kelly Lundy" at Haley Heston's Private Collection escort service in Sin City.

Her profile has been taken down from the escort agency site but it showed that she charged $600 an hour for her services.

The 44-year-old Favor Hamilton has since acknowledged the report on Twitter.

"I was drawn to escorting in large part because it provided many coping mechanisms for me when I was going through a very challenging time with my marriage and my life," she wrote on her Twitter account. "It provided an escape from a life that I was struggling in. It was a double life."

She added that her decision to be an escort was "very much related to depression" and apologized for hurting her loved ones.

Favor Hamilton competed for the U.S. at the Olympics in 1992, 1996 and 2000 but did not win a medal. The middle-distance runner won seven U.S. national titles.
