Suspect at large after deadly shooting outside Detroit strip club

DETROIT- Police are searching for the killer in a deadly shooting outside an exotic dance club early Wednesday morning, according to CBS Detroit.

Detroit police were called to the Jaguar Gentleman's Club around 1 a.m. Wednesday, after shots were fired in the club's parking lot.

When officers arrived, they found a man, aged 40, dead in the parking lot. The victim's identity has not yet been released.

Investigators are still trying to piece together what led to the shooting. Strip club patrons told CBS Detroit that there was not altercation inside the club itself.

"I think there might have been more to it. They was probably trying to rob him or something but I don't think somebody just up and shot him," one patron said.

Police are searching for the suspect, described as a stocky man wearing a black hoodie. He may have fled the scene in an older-model Chevrolet Trailblazer.

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact police at 313-267-4600.
