Boyle, who shot to fame while competing on Britain's Got Talent in 2009, was reportedly set to perform one of her new songs, as well as Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah."

According to a rep who spoke to People magazine, "Her doctor advised her not to sing due to a severe throat infection. Susan is very upset at letting her fans down. Their continued support means so much to her."

It would have been her second appearance on the hit ABC show. Last year, she performed "I Dreamed a Dream."

She also had been set to sing Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" on "America's Got Talent" last month, but the spot allegedly canned because of an issue over the rights to the song.
