Strip the Formatting from Copied Text with PureText (Windows)

Has this ever happened to you? You copy some text from, say, a Web page into a Word document (or vice versa), only to end up with all kinds of funky formatting: weird fonts, improper spacing, and the like. PureText 2.0 saves the day by removing all manner of formatting from copied text, thus leaving you with just the raw, unadulterated words.

All you do is select and copy text like usual. When the time comes to paste, however, you press Windows-V instead of Ctrl-V. (You can assign just about any other hot-key if you prefer.) PureText doesn't make any modifications to the text; it merely removes any Rich Text formatting.

As someone who spends a lot of time working in WordPress, which notoriously dislikes pasted text, this utility is a dream come true. PureText is free; it works with all versions of Windows.
