Strange-looking creature spotted in N.H. cemetery

MERRIMACK, N.H. -- Police in Merrimack, New Hampshire, are letting the public know about a strange-looking creature that was spotted in a cemetery Tuesday morning, CBS Boston reported.

The animal, which authorities say is "most likely" a coyote pup, was seen running past headstones near the Upper Elementary School.

Merrimack police posted a photo of the animal on Facebook.

"We've been advised by Fish & Game to leave it alone as the pups are now moving about on their own," the police wrote.

Wildlife officials say it's best to leave the animal alone since it doesn't appear to be menacing or vicious.
