Sting Zings Stewart In Grammy Flap
British musician Sting says that if Rod Stewart is really upset about never winning a Grammy, he'd be glad to share one from his collection.
Sting was asked in Hong Kong about reports that Stewart, 58, recently noted — in less-than-polite language — that Sting has accumulated a long string of Grammy awards while Stewart has not had any.
"He's never won a Grammy, and I think Rod's a fantastic artist, I really do," Sting said Sunday. "I'm a huge fan of Rod's and I'm going to send him one of mine when I get home."
Sting, 52, had to wait for laughter to subside before adding: "I think he deserves it."
Sting has won 10 Grammys as a solo artist and another five with his former group, the Police.
Sting was in Hong Kong to promote his new album "Sacred Love."
