Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson returning to "Idol"

(CBS) Good news, "American Idol" fans. Steven Tyler - the one you watch because you can't believe what he's going to say next - is returning to the show! So is Randy Jackson. But really, dawg, what else does he have on his plate?

Jennifer Lopez, on the other hand, has not committed to a return season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Perhaps that big boost for the otherwise meh "On the Floor" hasn't been enough to persuade her? Perhaps she has other opportunities to consider? We're not entirely sure.

THR reports Jackson has been vocal about his wish that all three judges return next year. Tyler had a two-year deal, so his return was more assured.
