(CBS/AP) LOS ANGELES - The family of a 2-year-old boy who fell to his death at a Los Angeles Lakers game last November is suing the owner of the team's arena, the Staples Center.

Lucas Tang suffered head injuries when he plunged from a third-level box minutes after the game. The suit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court claims Anschutz Entertainment Group and venue operator L.A. Arena Co. failed to warn fans about a dangerous design of the luxury boxes.

The filing seeks unspecified damages and an injunction that would require Anschutz to install taller barriers in front of the boxes.
