Prosecutors identified the 17-year-old on Monday by his initials, J.C.M., after he was captured during an intensive search. Authorities said more arrests "cannot be excluded."
Police also arrested Meyshane Johnson, a Jamaican security guard, earlier this month. He is being held on pre-trial detention as prosecutors build their case.
His lawyer said he denies killing the couple.
Michael and Thelma King of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, were found stabbed to death in their vacation home last month. Friends say the Kings were part-time residents of St. Maarten. Michael King was planning on starting a rum business on the tiny Dutch territory.
