'So You Think You Can Dance?' Cuts 2

Ashleigh DiLello, who injured her shoulder in rehearsals earlier this week, escaped elimination from "So You Think You Can Dance?" Wednesday night, despite having failed to dance in this week's semifinals.

The dancers sent home were 28-year-old Legacy Perez, who specializes in B-Boying, and 18-year-old jazz dance Mollee Gray. Six dancers are left to compete in the finals next week.

Audience votes spared Ashleigh, a 28-year-old Latin ballroom dancer whose shoulder popped out as she practiced a Bollywood number with her partner, Russell. She was able to get in back in, she told host Cat Deeley Tuesday night, but doctors will not clear her to dance until after they get the results of some tests, including an MRI.

After his solo Tuesday, a tearful Ryan DiLello, Ashleigh's husband, pleaded with viewers to vote for Ashleigh, who he said had worked so hard during the course of the competition and was deserving of going on.

Also a Latin ballroom dancer, 28-year-old Ryan, who danced disco and cha cha numbers Tuesday, was among the finalists, as was his partner, Kathryn McCormick, a contemporary dancer. Other finalists are Ellenore Scott, whose dancing style includes ballet, locking and contemporary jazz; contemporary dancer Jakob Karr; and krumper Russell Ferguson.

The Wonder Girls, an Asian pop group, and this year's "American Idol" winner Kris Allen were the musical guests.
