According to the El Paso Times, agents at a checkpoint ordered the pro-pot entertainer, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, Jr., and his companions, off the bus so a drug-sniffing dog (not Snoop) could conduct a search.

The agents reportedly found a red prescription bottle of marijuana cigarettes as well as two other containers with the drug in them. The total weight of the marijuana found in the bus was .13 pounds.

Snoop, who reportedly has a prescription for marijuana in California, admitted the pot was his, according to the newspaper, and was placed under arrest, but soon released with a citation.

He was ordered to appear in court on or before Jan. 20.

In 2010, Snoop's fellow pot smoker Willie Nelson was arrested at a Texas checkpoint for allegedly having about six ounces of marijuana on his tour bus.
