Sinatra: Memoriam Information

The family of Frank Sinatra is planning a private funeral Wednesday, but fans in other cities have planned Masses of their own.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that fans and friends who wish to honor Sinatra's memory send donations to:

No other designation is needed, but the Children's Center requests that all donors include their addresses and telephone numbers.

A private funeral Mass is scheduled for noon Wednesday, to be officiated by Cardinal Roger Mahony, leader of the Los Angeles Roman Catholic Archdiocese. A private vigil service is planned for Tuesday night.

TV and radio reports say Sinatra will be laid to rest at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, Calif., near Palm Springs, where his mother and his lifelong friend Jilly Rizzo are buried.
