Simply 'Billy Miles'

People are always trying to categorize musical performers. Well, singer-songwriter Billy Miles will have none of that.

The Southern California native is making a name for herself by breaking down musical boundaries and fusing a versatile mix of genres –- creating her own unique sound in the process.

Miles visits The Saturday Early Show Second Cup Café to perform: "Sunshine," "A Friend Like You" and "We Can't Help You" -– a few of the songs off of her critically acclaimed debut album, entitled, simply enough, "Billy Miles."

It was Andre Williams (A.K. Bros. Entertainment Group) who discovered Mijles while she was making the rounds in L.A.'s small clubs. Now, he is her co-writer, collaborator and producer.

And her music has been getting serious airplay on urban, adult contemporary and smooth jazz radio stations across the country.
