Share Your Desktop with Microsoft SharedView

sharedview.jpgWeb meetings can be incredibly useful, whether they're for showing presentations to clients or brainstorming with far-flung co-workers. Microsoft SharedView lets you connect with up to 15 people, sharing your desktop, distributing "handouts," and even letting others take control. And unlike better-known meeting services such as WebEx and GoToMeeting, SharedView doesn't cost a dime.

After installing the SharedView software, you sign in using a Windows Live ID (you can get one free if you don't already have one), then create a new session and send e-mail invitations to your audience. (Thankfully, participants don't need Live IDs to attend SharedView meetings, nor do they have to install anything.)

You can learn more about SharedView over at Confessions of a freeware junkie.
