Share Large Files Securely using StreamFile

Yeah, there are a million ways to share files, everything from thumb drives to SkyDrive to YouSendIt. But this week, we ran across something a little bit different: StreamFile lets you share files up to 150MB using an encrypted point-to-point transfer from a simple and spiffy Web interface.

There's no software to install; it all works right from a Java-based browser window. Just enter the recipient's email address and choose a file; it'll remain available for download for up to 24 hours.

It's also secure: your file is protected by 256-bit AES SSL encryption. And the whole operation is completely free -- you don't even have to register or leave your e-mail address.

If you need more capacity, you can register (still for free) to get 300MB and 48 hours, or you can pay $4.95/month for a maximum of 2GB and download links that persist for 2 weeks.
