"Sex and the City 2," the sequel to the 2008 film that picked up where the HBO series left off, premiered Monday night at New York's Radio City Music Hall.

The film's four leading ladies - actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon - all walked the premiere's light blue carpet, along with co-stars Chris Noth, Jason Lewis, Mario Cantone and Liza Minnelli, who makes a cameo in the film.

Also at the premiere were reality TV stars Whitney Port and Padma Lakshmi, "Gossip Girl" actress Jessica Szor and radio host Howard Stern.

Parker's neon yellow gown was by Valentino, according to People magazine, while Nixon wore Carolina Herrera, Cattrell wore Naeem Khan and Davis wore Jean Desses for Decades.

The film picks up two years after the first one left off, with the four women embarking on a trip to Abu Dhabi.
