Selena Gomez out of the hospital, "feeling much better"

(CBS) Selena Gomez says she's "feeling much better" after being hospitalized last week.

The actress-singer, who was taken to a Los Angeles hospital for "routine tests" on Thursday after reportedly complaining of nausea and a severe headache, thanked fans for their concern in a message posted on Facebook.

"Feeling much better, thank you all for being so understanding," she wrote on Monday. "Can't wait to see you all today at Santa Monica Place for the Monte Carlo kick off."

Gomez was originally supposed to appear at the Santa Monica, Calif., mall on Friday, to promote her upcoming film "Monte Carlo," but missed the appearance due to her illness.

The 18-year-old's boyfriend, singer Justin Bieber, was among those who expressed concern for Gomez while she was sick. The teen heartthrob tweeted "#getwellselena" on Friday.

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of the get well wishes. I love you guys so much," she posted on her Facebook page Sunday.
