Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber on the "Monte Carlo" red carpet
(CBS) Selena Gomez stars in a new movie out in theaters nationwide today, "Monte Carlo," in which she portrays an ordinary young woman who, along with her two friends, pretends to be a famous socialite.
We caught up with Gomez last night at the film's New York red carpet premiere of the film, and she told us that she had a lot of fun making "Monte Carlo."
"It was insane. It was beautiful," she said of the shoot, "I got to go to Budapest, and Paris, and Monte Carlo and worked with the two best girls in Hollywood."
Gomez is referring to her two co-stars in the movie, Katie Cassidy and Leighton Meester, but all eyes were focused on Gomez's boyfriend, Justin Bieber, who attended the movie premiere in support of his girlfriend.
There was some initial doubt if Bieber would even actually make an appearance, as he was involved in an accidental altercation earlier that day. And although Bieber did make it to the premiere for Selena, he didn't talk to any members of the press or the screaming fans who were also in attendance.
