See What's New in Firefox 3.5

The latest version of Firefox, 3.5, is pretty close to release. Rather than reading some dull list of new features, why not watch this three-minute video? It spotlights the highlights of Firefox 3.5.

I have to admit I'm dubious about claims that Firefox 3.5 is "much faster," as I've never found the browser to be slow. But, hey, who am I to argue with speed tweaks?

The feature I'm most excited about is Recently Closed Windows, which lets you restore, um, recently closed windows. To me, that's on par with Lazarus, the Firefox plug-in that recovers lost form data.

And, of course, don't forget Porn Mode -- er, that is, Private Browsing mode, which retains absolutely no history, cookies, temp files, or the like from your session. (Amazingly, Internet Explorer 8 was first out of the gate with this option, which it calls InPrivate.)

Those are just a few of the highlights. Check the video for more deets, or see Lifehacker's rundown of the top 10 Firefox 3.5 features. Then head to the comments and nominate your favorite(s). [via Digital Inspiration]
