Second Cup Café: Josh Kelley

Josh Kelley took charge of his latest album, "Just Say The Word" by writing, performing and producing the entire set. But that's not unusual for a guy with so many talents.

In addition to singing and playing a number of instruments, Kelley is a talented visual artist. Several of his works can be seen on his Web site.

He visits Second Cup Café today to share songs from "Just Say The Word."

Born and raised in Augusta, Ga., Kelley started learning guitar when he was 11 and formed a band with his brother as a teenager.

Kelley first broke into the music scene with the release of his single "Amazing" from his 2003 debut album "For The Ride Home."

His released his second album, 2005's "Almost Honest," to favorable reviews.

Kelley's first single from "Just Say The Word" is "Pop Culture," a song that explores what he calls "modern-day obsession with the world of popular culture."

The singer has become even more high-profile in that pop culture world, now that he's engaged to "Grey's Anatomy" star Catherine Heigl. The couple met when she appeared in his video for the song "Only You."

Kelley plans to tour throughout 2006 in support of the album
