One anti-war activist pointed out that today marks the second anniversary of Vice President Dick Cheney's comments that the insurgency in Iraq was in its "last throes." Cheney made those remarks in an interview with his wife on CNN's "Larry King Live."
“Bush and Cheney were hopelessly out of touch with the situation in Iraq two years ago and they are out of touch today,” said Moira Mack, a spokeswoman for Americans Against Escalation in Iraq. “It is time for this administration to stop obstructing the will of the American people and start bringing our troops out of a civil war in Iraq.”
