NEW YORK (CBS) Looks as if Sandra Bullock is ready to hit the silver screen again.
The 46-year-old actress is reportedly in talks to star in "Gravity," a sci-fi thriller that has also considered Angelina Jolie and Natalie Portman for the lead female role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film, which will also reportedly star Robert Downey Jr., will focus around a group of astronauts who are left in orbit, struggling to stay alive.
According to THR, Warner Bros. approached Bullock after Portman pulled out due to scheduling conflicts. The role was first originally set up for Jolie, but she reportedly passed on the project after the studio declined to fork up her $20 million fee.
If Bullock secures the role in "Gravity," it would be her first feature film after her Oscar-winning performance in "The Blind Side" and divorce from Jesse James.
